All Como-Harriet Streetcar Line tokens, tickets, and passes are valid on the Excelsior Streetcar Line. Streetcars depart from the Water Street Station about every ten to fifteen minutes. Passengers may also board at the Old Excelsior Road platform, located just west of the intersection of Old Excelsior Road and Minnetonka Boulevard. Trips may include a tour of the Excelsior Carbarn. Reservations are not necessary. Ten and 25-Ride Tickets and Season Passes are available at the Como- Harriet Streetcar Line's Linden Hills Station in Minneapolis. We appreciate your cooperation. Excelsior Streetcar Line LocationThe Excelsior Streetcar Line is located in west-suburban Excelsior, about fifteen miles west of downtown Minneapolis. It runs between Water Street and Old Excelsior Road. Board adjacent to the Excelsior and Lake Minnetonka Historical Society's museum between 3rd and George Streets. You can also board at Old Excelsior Road just to the west of the intersection of Old Excelsior and Minnetonka Boulevard.Take Highway 7, accessible from Interstate 494, west past the Excelsior exit to County Road 19. Turn right at County Road 19 and right again at the first stop light, Water Street. The Excelsior Streetcar Line's station is located between 3rd and George Streets on the right. There is free on-street parking.
AccessibilityThe streetcars of the Como-Harriet and Excelsior Streetcar Lines are not wheelchair accessible. As historic vehicles that could not be made wheelchair accessible without damaging their historic integrity, they are exempt from the Americans with Disabilities Act. Our crews are available to assist passengers with disabilities in boarding our streetcars to the extent possible.
